GM Souharda Pattina Sahakari Sangha Niyamita was established in July 2009 with a vision to provide accessible financial services to the community. Our founders, led by Dr. G.M. Siddeswara Former Union Minister of State, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises and Former Minister of State in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, representing Davangere parliamentary constituency continuously for four terms. Further Sri. G.M. Prasanna Kumar, who has been serving as the President from inception, took a pioneer role in establishing this institution with a deep commitment to financial inclusion and community empowerment. And Sri G.M. Lingaraju, present Chancellor, GM University-Davanagere, who took vital role in building this organisation in the capacity of “Chief Promoter.”
